Elise Marra is originally from Detroit, Michigan, but now lives and works in London. Elise is currently in her final year as a Film Production and Theatre student at Brunel University. Elise has three passions - sound, writing, and food. Elise has completed placements at Platform Post Production and West Digital Post Production in London. Her biggest sound inspirations are Whiplash, The Polar Express, and The Silence of the Lambs.

Elise has been writing since she was 9 years old. Her first novel was published at 11 and her first musical finished at 13. Elise became the youngest female composer to reach the Billboard Top 10 Broadway with her cast album Frankie! The Musical. Since then Elise has written seven musicals and seven plays. Her most recent one woman show 'Picture This' a musical horror comedy was performed at the 2023 Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
